On this bonus adventure of #thehexcladchronicles , I'm in Modesto California, and I Just had an unforgettable meal with some pretty unforgettable people. We're at the "Food Fix Truck" I tried the "Root Beer Pulled Pork", and wow—slow-cooked to perfection and infused with root beer goodness! Paired with creamy mayo, tangy root beer BBQ, and a sweet & sour slaw on a fresh-baked bolillo roll, it was a flavor explosion! Even Got to meet the amazing owner, Hank Olson who is also a culinary instructor and is just as awesome as his food. His passion for cooking shines through every dish. And fun fact: even celebrity chefs like Alton Brown have raved about the coleslaw! The staff was super friendly, making the whole experience even better. Food Fix is a great spot for happy hour, especially on Wednesdays! The deals are solid, and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and creative, definitely a step above your typical bar bites. The happy hour menu offers generous portions at great prices, making it a perfect time to try a variety of dishes. The bartender service is awesome, friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, good drinks, great price and great service during happy hour!"

It was okay. There was a bit of a lunch hour rush so service was slower than usual (according to my coworkers). I ordered the Angry Bluebird (chicken sandwich) with a side of fries which was quite tasty. The downfall being it was not one cut of chicken so one half only had one piece of meat while the other half had three different cuts of chicken. I'll give this place another try and hope there's better results.

This review is for the restaurant. A great place to go if you want to drink beer and enjoy poor service and mediocre food. If you want to drink something other than beer or basic soda in a can, you're SOL as the only option is water and you're apparently only allowed one cup of it. Cashiers and wait staff are indifferent and a lot of the food is very fatty, and not in a good way. For Modesto standards it's good, but then again, there aren't many options that aren't chains or fast food in that dining desert.

Pull up here for the first time because they posted a picture of the faux and go sandwich on Instagram. Ive been wanting to stop by for days but never did but today was the day and it was amazing. From the food to the customer service everything was A1 especially that gosh darn mustard....

Eating a sandwich here will literally make your day! I came here just wanting to try something different for lunch and instead I stumble upon one of the most flavorful sandwiches I have ever TASTED!! This is a food Truck that I can see exploding in popularity in the next few months! Keep up the Awesome Work Food Fix Truck!!

We had Food Fix cater our wedding and they were a huge hit! The food was AMAZING! Seriously couldn’t of asked for better quality and tasting food. The food at a wedding is one of the most important things and you will not regret having them cater! 100% will use again.
